Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use ShaadiPakki
• You must be legally eligible to marry under Indian law
• You must not be currently married (unless legally separated/divorced)
• You must provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
• You may create only one account per person

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Family members using the Family Dashboard feature must have your explicit consent

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Create fake or misleading profiles
• Upload photos of other people without their consent
• Harass, stalk, or threaten other users
• Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam
• Share other users' personal information outside the platform
• Use the platform for any purpose other than genuine matrimonial search
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or access others' accounts
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on the platform
• Post content that is obscene, defamatory, or illegal
• Solicit money, gifts, or financial transactions from other users

4. Profile Content

• All profile information must be truthful and accurate
• Photos must be recent (within 2 years) and clearly show your face
• We reserve the right to remove profiles that violate our guidelines
• You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to display it on the platform

5. Verification & Trust Score

• Verification is optional but strongly encouraged
• Submitted documents are reviewed by our team and used solely for verification
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of other users' verification status
• Trust scores are calculated algorithmically and may change over time

6. Subscription & Payments

• Free accounts have limited features as described in our pricing page
• Paid subscriptions are charged upfront for the selected period
• Auto-renewal can be toggled off at any time before the renewal date
• Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes

7. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from Settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Banned users will be notified of the reason for suspension
• Deleted accounts have a 30-day recovery period before permanent deletion

8. Limitation of Liability

ShaadiPakki is a platform that facilitates connections between users. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles, the success of matches, or the conduct of other users. Users meet and interact at their own risk.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
